Terms of Use
Effective date: August 29, 2026
These Terms of Use govern your access to courses, downloads, community features, and other services offered by Spiral to Anchor ("Spiral to Anchor," "we," "us," or "our") through this website. By creating an account or purchasing or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Adults only
Our services are intended for adults age 18 or older, including parents, caregivers, therapists, and other helping professionals. Children may not create accounts or log in. Do not upload or submit a child's identifying, medical, educational, mental-health, or other sensitive information through the site.
2. Educational purpose and professional judgment
Spiral to Anchor provides educational information and practical tools. It is not medical, mental-health, legal, court, crisis, or emergency advice and does not create a therapist-client, clinician-patient, attorney-client, or other professional relationship. It is not a substitute for evaluation or treatment by a qualified professional. If you believe anyone is in immediate danger or experiencing an emergency, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource.
Professionals must use independent professional judgment and comply with their licenses, scope of practice, ethical duties, employer requirements, and applicable law. Results vary, and we do not promise a particular outcome.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. Your account is personal to you. You may not share your password, allow another person to use your account, or create an account for a child. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. License and permitted use
Subject to payment and compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access purchased materials.
- Parent and caregiver products may be viewed and printed by the purchaser for use within the purchaser's own household.
- Clinician products may be viewed and printed by the purchasing professional for use with that professional's own clients within the professional's own practice.
You may not copy for others, share account access, publish materials online, distribute files or printables, resell, sublicense, modify for resale, remove ownership notices, or use the materials to create a competing product except with our prior written permission.
5. Purchases, pricing, and taxes
Prices and included features are shown at checkout and may change for future purchases. You authorize the applicable payment processor to charge the payment method you provide, including recurring charges when a product is clearly offered as a subscription. You are responsible for applicable taxes unless we are required to collect them. Payment processing is provided by third parties, and their terms and privacy practices also apply.
6. Refund policy
You may request a refund within 14 calendar days after the original purchase by emailing [email protected] with the purchaser's name, account email, and course name. A refund is available when less than 25% of the course has been accessed or completed. We may decline a refund after more than 25% has been accessed or completed, or when a substantial portion of downloadable materials has been accessed or downloaded. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, and access to the refunded product will end. This policy does not limit any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable law.
7. Subscription terms
If a product is sold as a subscription, the price and billing interval will be disclosed at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled through the available account controls or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewal charges but does not ordinarily provide a refund for the current billing period, except as required by law or stated in the offer.
8. Availability and changes
We may improve, update, replace, or discontinue site features or content. We aim to provide reliable access but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. If a material change significantly reduces a paid product during its stated access period, contact us so we can consider an appropriate remedy.
9. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the site, interfere with its operation or security, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or harvest data, upload malicious code, impersonate another person, infringe rights, or use the services unlawfully.
10. Intellectual property
The site, courses, text, graphics, videos, printables, trademarks, and other materials are owned by Spiral to Anchor or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. No ownership rights are transferred to you.
11. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the services and materials are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or particular results.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Spiral to Anchor and its owners, officers, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or opportunities arising from the services. Our total liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the product giving rise to the claim during the 12 months before the event. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be limited.
13. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Spiral to Anchor harmless from third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person's rights.
14. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach of these Terms, unlawful conduct, security risk, chargeback abuse, or infringement. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise. Courts located in Oregon will have jurisdiction, unless applicable law gives you another right.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version and revise the effective date. Your continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
